No Sew Blues

I used to hate sewing, because I had to do it. It wasn't fun for me it was just a chore. It wasnt until I was sick this past winter that I discovered youtube videos of t-shirt reconstructions and Threadbanger that I began to enjoy sewing. It really became a fun hobby for me. My whole family, who had never been supportive when I wanted to be a fashion designer before all of the sudden started voicing their desire for me to go back to school to study it. But I knew I'd hate it if I did that. Then all of my sisters (and I have a lot of them) started recruiting me to make their kids' halloween costumes which is fine, I've never made clothes for k

I'm having some serious tiffs with my digital camera today. I made a few super cute rockabilly tops I wanted to photograph today but every photo is turning out blurry even on a tripod with the stabilizer on. Pft. And if that isn't bad enough I cant seem to get the outdoor shots to work without making me look like Edward in Twilight - oh the joys of being pale. I've messed with the exposure and every other lighting feature on the camera with no luck. I suspect this is partly why I like 35mm better. So much easier to get the lighting right and I can focus my 35mm camera- a feature not on the little digital camera I have for snap shots. In othe
